Auntie Nett and Uncle Funny often used to look after me - I think when my mum and dad (Anne & Brian Denson) had had enough!  I must have been perhaps 4 or 5 so 1975/6-ish.  I was hanging out at Roseneath and playing with Joe the dog.  I decided that perhaps Joe needed a bit of pampering - so helped myself to Annette's VERY expensive talc and powder puff and liberally coated Joe - he smelled lovely - not sure Annette was that impressed though!

Annette was my mum's best friend and in-fact I think introduced mum and dad.  Annette, Ron, Brian and Anne were close friends and spent a lot of time together over the years.  Poor Annette and Ron even went above and beyond and joined my mum and dad at my various cross-country races around the country!  Now that's friendship!

Annette was a wonderful support to me when my parents passed away.  I'm sorry I'm not there to say a farewell in person - but I will be there with you on the livestream.
